Be as specific as possible as to how our community, county or Idaho will benefit from your proposal being awarded an MBEA grant.

For example:

  • Does your proposal respond to a specific safety need on our waterways?
  • Does your proposal expand the capacity of community, county or Idaho marine safety?
  • Does your proposal expand the capacity of marine education eCorts in in the community, county or Idaho?
  • Does your proposal increase the safety of our community, county or Idaho waterways?
Please identify any partnerships with local stakeholders. Be as specific as possible when describing your community partners.

For example:
  • Do you have community partners who have expressed a willingness to donate materials or equipment should an MBEA grant be awarded?
  • Do you have community partnerships that could be expanded through an MBEA grant?
  • Do you have industry partners who are available to provide educational opportunities to increase the safety of the waterways in community, county or Idaho waterways?
Please describe the program outcomes you wish to achieve if awarded an MBEA grant. The outcomes should be measurable.

For example:
  • How many boaters will be impacted by the implementation of your project?
  • How many boaters will take the educational courses associated with your proposal?
Please describe your plan to sustain the program and keep it viable, providing as much detail as possible.

For example:
  • Will the award of an MBEA grant incentivize your community partners to contribute additional time and resources to your program?
  • Is your organization prepared to cover the ongoing expenses associated with your proposal?

Grant Request

Please list the necessary expenses to support the need for an MBEA grant. All requests for MBEA funds must be supported with an itemized quote or estimate. Summarize resources and how they will be used if awarded an MBEA grant.
